And the Lord said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom HIS Lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? Luke 12:42

Dwight David Hargrove, a faithful and wise steward, answered the call of the Lord when he accepted the position of Pastor of the Zion Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Hargrove humbly, but graciously, accepted that call and has proceeded to commit himself in leading the people at this house of Zion.
A native of Richmond, Virginia, Rev. Hargrove started his Christian walk at the Trinity Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. W. D. Adkins. He was baptized at an early age and developed a spiritual appreciation for the work of the Lord through his participation in the different ministries of that church: The Sunday School, the Choir Ministry, the Usher’s Ministry, and the Boy Scouts. Little did anyone know that this would lead to the groundwork of him exercising his spiritual gifts of preaching, exhorting, and sharing?
A strong proponent of II Timothy 4:2 preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke with all longsuffering and doctrine, Rev. Hargrove has a yearning to prepare himself to do the work that God has called him to do. This righteous man, through prayer and hard work, has been blessed with the following: Diploma from Hermitage High School in Glen Allen, Virginia; an A.A.S degree in Electronics Engineering, M.Div., Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology, Virginia Union University Richmond, Virginia. Rev. Hargrove entered the military to serve with the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged, after seven years of service.
